Hello all. I am currently in New York City watching the sky darkening with the approach of Hurricane Sandy. I was honored to speak to a wonderful group of men, women, and children on the Intrepid aircraft carrier anchored in the Hudson river earlier today. They were brought together thanks to Tuesdays Children, a Non-profit organization that provides support and services for the children of 9/11 and others impacted by global terrorism. I don’t think I’ll ever forget this group including the brave 11-year-old named Richie whose copy of FEARLESS I signed in memory of his father who was killed on 9/11 in the twin towers; or the Sandri family, whose book I signed in honor of their son and brother SGT Matt Sandri who was Killed in action in Afghanistan on 20 March, 2004. Thank you all for having me.
